You do not need to seek freedom in some distant land. For everything already exists within your own body, heart, mind, and soul

What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga nidra means “conscious sleep,” and it is the practice of maintaining alert awareness as you move through the levels of your body, your emotions, and your mind into the peaceful and transcendent place that is always present within the depth of your being.
You’ll be led through a variety of steps, including a body scan, breathwork, guided visualization, and more.
The two-and-a-half-hour ceremony gives you time to safely journey as you release deeply held tension, limiting beliefs, and old traumatic patterns.
Yoga nidra practitioners often report a sense of relaxation, a deeper connection to themselves, and a feeling of joy, happiness, and well being that they had been looking for in their spiritual practice.
Cannabis as a Sacrament
Since before recorded history, spiritual seekers have used cannabis as a sacrament.
Shaiva ascetics in the Himalayas used it to still the mind to support meditative absorption. Across cultures and centuries, ganja has shown up again and again as a tool for going inward. As Bob Marley famously said, “Herb reveals you to yourself.”
Used with clear intention and focused practice, cannabis can quiet the inner narrator, the part of your mind that keeps commenting, planning, and defending. It can widen the body’s field of sensation, which often helps you come into the present moment.
Cannabis can help carry you into the depths of a yoga nidra. Participants find that they are gently supported as they find the profoundly blissful state of mind where the true healing happens.
The Arc of the Practice
1. The Prep Call
A 60-minute group call before the ceremony. I’ll walk you through the ceremony process from beginning to end. And answer any questions you may have. We will also have time for everyone to introduce themselves and share their intentions. We’ll provide some short readings and links to recorded yoga nidra practices.
2. The Ceremony — 3 Hours
Just before the ceremony starts, we’ll take time to set up the space with mats and our community altar. Then we’ll circle up, and I’ll offer a short teaching on cannabis and consciousness. You’ll imbibe consciously, in a ritual fashion, and when you’re ready, lie down to get comfortable. I will then offer a long, guided yoga nidra journey through the body and beyond it. You’ll have a long, spacious time to allow your consciousness to explore its own vastness. You’ll be gently brought back to ordinary reality, and will have a chance to share with the group, if you’d like.
3. The Integration Call — 1 Hour
We talk about what came up: any tension that released, any old patterns that surfaced, anything that’s still moving through you. We hold space for each other- the good, the bad; it’s all welcome. Of course, we (Tam Integration) hold regular integration circles, so we’ll always be there for you.
