We will talk with Veronika and Gregory about their work with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). They will share their experience running a Ketamine Therapy Center, and some interesting case studies. We’ll discuss who can successfully be treated by Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and what treatment protocols look like. We will also spend time exploring how KAP fits in with a holistic and integrated view of health, and what are best practices for an individual preparing for, and integrating from, this therapy.
Gregory Wells and Veronika Gold are co-founders of Polaris Insight Center, Psychological Association providing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, both are as well co-therapists on MAPS Phase 3 MDMA PTSD study.
Gregory is a founder of San Francisco Insight and Integration Center, one of the sites for the MAPS MDMA study.
Veronika Gold, LMFT, SEP – Czech Republic native, has an expertise in the treatment of trauma. She has an integrative approach informed by Somatic Therapies, contemplative practices, and mindfulness. Her interest is as well in educating others about the healing and transformational potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Gregory Wells, PhD – has worked with clients with a range of issues including psychedelic integration and psychological assessments. His orientation is influenced by Buddhist Psychology and Contemplative Psychology, but as well employs cognitive-behavioral techniques and uses mindfulness.
