Many of us have journeyed into magical mushroom space and wondered how to bring the treasures we find there into our daily lives. What we often forget is that these states of mind, body and heart require commitment and practice. Join us for an evening of sacred, communal meditation, led by psychedelic scientist Dr. Katherine MacLean and contemplative scientist and meditation teacher, Dr. Erika Rosenberg. We will engage in specific mind-training techniques, inspired by Buddhist meditations, that can help enliven our somatic and energetic memories of past mushroom experiences. We will practice befriending all of the inhabitants of our minds and extending our hearts out to our fellow beings.
Kent Osborn will discuss the symbology of Shipibo tribe Kené patterns which are informed by traditional amazonian Ayahuasca ceremonies.
He will also highlight how these fascinating designs are connected with master plants, animal spirits, different types of shaman and their ceremonial tools.
He will also share about his history and journey of co creating his business Shinan, and the non profit Juinti Koshi which does projects to help Shipibo communities outside Pucallpa peru.
